I was interviewed by the IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals) about OpenGDPR, an open-source framework that mParticle co-created with several other companies to standardise how organisations handle data subject access requests under GDPR.

This was right before GDPR went live and every company was building its own internal tooling to manage DSARs. The idea behind OpenGDPR was that the industry needed a shared framework rather than hundreds of bespoke implementations. I was at mParticle as GM EMEA at the time, and this was one of the projects I’m most proud of from that era.
